Order Instructions
The Detroit Society for Genealogical Research Publications are available for purchase by the general public at the list price and to our members at a discounted price. If you are a member of DSGR and have not signed into the Member Log-in, you must do this for the discount to be applied. Purchases may be made online using PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account, just a credit card for a one-time connection). Or once you have made all of your selections, you can request an order form be printed for your use to write a check and mail your order to DSGR.
The inventory of DSGR Publications is stored at the main Detroit Public Library. Before submitting a publication purchase, please email the DSGR StoreKeeper at salesoffice@dsgrinc.org to determine if your item is available.
When checking out, you will be asked to confirm a code, click the check box to get the code, and then retype the code in the box provided.

2024 Bus Trip Sign Up Instructions PLEASE READ
You will need to choose the bus trip (and the number of seats you are purchasing) based on the point you wish to catch the bus. There are three Pick Up points on our route: Southfield, Livonia, and Chelsea (details provided with each selection). Ticket prices are the same for all persons. You also have the opportunity to preorder a box lunch for the trip back to Michigan when we leave Fort Wayne. Selection of the contents of your lunch will be made on the bus.
To complete your purchase: You will need to Add To Cart your bus trip(s), Continue Shopping, Add to Cart your lunch(es). Finalize your purchase. (Lunches can also be ordered and paid for on the bus on the way to Fort Wayne)
We expect to arrive at the ACPL between 10:00 and 10:15 AM. For first-time visitors, an orientation tour is available upon arrival. You will then be at the Genealogy Center until the Library Closes at 6:00 PM when we board the bus and head back to Michigan.
Be sure to do your preparation work at the Genealogy Center website -- http://genealogycenter.org -- put together your list of materials you want to pull. Check the maps for close by restaurants (you will be on your own for lunch).

Round trip to the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on June 1, 2024. Pick up point at Lawrence Tech, 21000 Ten Mile Road (Lot C), Southfield, MI. Arrive at approximately 5:55 AM. The bus will depart at approximately 6:15 AM. Return at approximately 9:50 PM.

This is a round trip to the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on June 1, 2024. The pick-up point is Livonia Senior Center, 15218 Farmington Road (at Five Mile Road), Livonia. Arrive at approximately 6:45 AM. The bus will depart at approximately 7:00 AM. Return at approximately 9:15 PM.

Box Lunch For Return Trip to Michigan
A box lunch can be ordered for the return trip from ACPL to Michigan. Menu choices will be provided in an email one week before the trip. Please return your top two choices by May 29. We are required to submit our order on May 30. Special selections for diabetic, gluten-free, and vegetarian requirements will be available.
