This softcover book is taken from the Reports filed with the Detroit City Clerk of patients seen by the City Physicians. The information given is date seen, name, residence and disease. In a few cases, additional information is given. Hundreds of early Detroit residents, many with Irish surnames, are included in these reports and their names may not be found in other Detroit sources for the same time period. The names of the City Physicians are listed in the preface. Also included is a one-page glossary of old or obsolete medical terms. This book was published in 1995 and is 135 pages including the glossary and index. |
